Should I stay or should I go

So, recently there been a lot of talk about the caravan of migrants who have now migrated(pun intended) to the Little Padres Park. I decided to read both Fox New's and CNN's perspective of the matter. First, let's start with Fox News, now in Fox News, the first thing they do is defend the American border agents. Fox News focuses on defending the actions of the agents using tear gas since it was all in the name of self-defense. Rodney Scott, the chief of the Border Patrol's San Diego sector, said they were assaulted by "a hail of rocks" this what caused them to throw the tear gas. In the video, the reporter(I don't his name) said that after the migrants realize that they might not be able to enter the US legally, they tried entering the US "by force in a violent attempt."  They also decide to interview a member of the Central American Exodus for Life who said: "they will kill us if we return to our countries." This is a subtle attempt of Fox News agreeing with President Trump's statements on how "they're criminals." Throughout the story they make the migrants demanding and entitled to protection or shelter. Even the title of Fox News seems like a satirical jab to the migrant. (Caravan migrants accuse US border agents of 'repression' by using tear gas) They use the quote "victims of repression" to not only mock them but also to make them seem hypocritical. Here's a short paraphrase of the quote.

"A group of Central American migrants said they were "victims of repression" by American border agents who launched tear gas  at a crowd that included angry rock-throwers and crying children." Hmm seems funny how Fox included that last detail.

Next CNN, CNN acquaints us with Migrants saying that "they have nowhere else to go." The first image we see is a discouraged migrant in the tent just waiting for something good to happen. The second thing CNN does is defend the migrants responding with "it could be weeks even months"  before they cross the border and "make their case." This is a direct contrast to what Fox News does instead of presenting as this entitled and violent people, CNN presents the migrants as sympathetic and unfortunate. They go to say that the shelters are "squalid and unsanitary." Expanding on that point, they say it filled with "stench of sewage fills" and "mudholes." They also manage to snag an interview with one the doctor Carlos Betanzos taking care of the migrants stating that they might have "flu, lice and stomach illnesses." The good thing is that they're treatable, but they fear "about a very big infection." They go on to interview a Honduran mother saying she has little money to buy food for her and her daughter. Speaking of food CNN reports that they are long lines of food that causes them to wait for hours. Finally, something CNN and Fox News did in common was interview a guy who can't return to his country or he will be killed, but CNN elaborates on this more here's the quote.

"Nuñez, 30, said he was threatened in Honduras after witnessing a crime and reporting it." Nuñez ends the article saying "we have come fleeing from worse things."

How politics try to convince you
It pretty clear that both articles report on something relevant with their own political bias. CNN tends to be more liberal, while Fox News tends to be more conservative. They both manage to interview migrants and write about the same issue to support their political views whether it's liberal or conservative. They word and include certain details to persuade you on their side.
