The topic
Healthcare is the support of health through the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, illness, and injury in human beings. Healthcare, of course, is performed by health professionals in related health fields.
Point of view
The Democrats believe that all Americans warrants the right to have at minimum basic healthcare. Hence is why they were extremely supportive of the affordable care act or Obama care. (Yes, they are the same thing.) They believe that it is unethical to have people die because they're too poor to afford the care. March 2010, President Obama created an affordable health care available to all Americans, which is something the Democratic party has supported over for a century.
Joe Manchin
Senator Manchin believes that everyone deserves affordable healthcare. Senator Manchin also believes that efficient healthcare improvement should increase access to coverage, but not hindering economic growth. Senator Manchin is looking to with colleagues from both parties to decrease the price of prescription drugs for West Virginia families and lower the price premiums without diminishing the worth of benefits. Any modifications to the health system should attempt to make healthcare more affordable for West Virginia families.
Compare and Contrast
Both Joe Manchin and the Democratic agree with the notion that everyone deserves basic health care. For the most part, they have very similar views about health care the only exception is Joe Manchin goes more in-depth with his plan while the Democrats don't. Perhaps the Democratic party has nothing planned as it is not it's the central priority, or they believe there's nothing else to tweak. Joe Manchin goes over how he wants to lower the price of the prescripted drug and premiums without lowering the quality. He's also more open to working with others from different parties to achieve, which is a rare thing to see as Democrats and Republicans don't see eye to eye.
In articles, I noticed that they worded it in a way where universal healthcare should be an unalienable right. They word it in a way where it is an objective fact, not a subjective opinion. For example, they don't manage to bring up any of the flaws and consequences that Republicans constantly criticize. Like how universal healthcare would mean everyone gets the same terrible healthcare. Instead, the word in a way where it would be inhumane if you didn't support this like the Republicans
